We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Technician to join our clients dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong data analysis skills and a solid understanding of financial processes. This role is essential in supporting our operations through effective demand planning, inventory control, and revenue management. The Quoting Technician prepares quotations based on customer blueprints and/or samples using client’s established procedures. The Quoting Technician also creates bill of material, routing information and is responsible for final sample part approvals. Pay $21-22, Full Benefits. Work Schedule: M-Th 7 am-4:30 pm/Friday 7am-11am
Responsibilities
Quote preparation including labor steps and identifying material needed to manufacture parts.
Communicate directly with client’s customers to obtain the necessary specifications needed to prepare a quote.
Communicate directly with client’s vendors to receive raw material quotes.
Work closely with production staff insuring all necessary tooling and materials are in house before the start of production.
Prepare the Bill of Material for production flow and continuously update material and labor time.
Prepare Detailed Assembly Instructions for use in the production process.
Inspect and approve all sample parts from the production floor.
Requirements
2 year associates degree or applicable industry experience
Knowledge and ability to read and create blueprints
Microsoft Office Application skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access)
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Ability to multitask; must be able to concentrate on several projects at once
Willingness and flexibility to meet changing customer requirements
Ability to create and use Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables and Lookup Tables
Knowledge of AutoCAD Drafting Software
Knowledge of 4th Shift ERP System
Requires sitting for long periods of time in front of a computer
