Summary

The Analyst – Logistics and Inventory supports the warehouse and distribution tasks, overseeing proper procedures and controls to maximize warehouse efficiency, supporting on-time preparation of inventory to satisfy scheduled deliveries and pickups for daily orders.

 

Position Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Reviews, manages and assigns all new orders added into the system.
  • Assigns Crew Leaders and crew members to each job.
  • Communicates with client one day prior to event, confirms all items ordered and provides a window of arrival time.
  • Partners with the operations team to determine the transportation equipment needed.
  • Creates truck route itineraries that are forwarded to drivers.
  • Communicates with field managers and sales managers on a daily basis.
  • Manages and reviews all incoming paperwork from field supervisors.
  • Manages and reviews equipment and inventory levels, making the determination for any sub-rental needs.
  • Adjusts inventory based on input from field managers regarding damaged, destroyed or missing equipment.
  • Creates and receives new equipment purchase orders in the system.
  • Works with warehouse operations team to ensure accurate count of new purchase orders.

Work environment:

  • Works mostly in indoor environments.
  • Occasionally works outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain.
  • Often uses safety attire and equipment such as vests, masks, gloves, etc.
  • May work in close proximity to other people, such as when sharing or entering office space.
  • May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.
  • Hours worked/scheduled generally more than 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required or scheduled as needed.

Educational, Technical and Computer Skills:

  • Rental software or warehouse management system knowledge and experience.
  • Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel knowledge and experience.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Warehouse, delivery, or routing management experience.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Technical ability; experience with computers and software knowledge.
  • Point of Rental software experience is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish.

 

Physical demands:

  • Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Works in close proximity to people, such as in sharing office space.
  • May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.

Work may be across seven (7) days a week based on event; on-call availability may also be required when events are booked at a moment’s notice.
