This position is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing suppliers for the indirect materials and services needed to support manufacturing operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ideal candidate is a strategic, results-driven procurement professional with strong supplier negotiation, contract management, cost-reduction, and SAP\/ERP experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Strategic Sourcing and Procurement<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage sourcing activities across multiple indirect purchasing categories, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) supplies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Facility management services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Packaging and consumable materials<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Office supplies and equipment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Temporary labor services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Logistics and transportation services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capital equipment support services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Utilities and energy-related services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>IT hardware, software, and related services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead RFQ and RFP processes, supplier evaluations, and vendor selection.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analyze supplier proposals and negotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and commercial agreements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Develop and implement cost-reduction and productivity initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Supplier and Contract Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor supplier performance related to quality, delivery, service, and cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Lead supplier business reviews and performance-improvement activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Resolve supply disruptions, invoice discrepancies, and commercial disputes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Negotiate and manage Long-Term Agreements, Master Service Agreements, and purchasing contracts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate contract documentation and purchasing records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cost Control and Reporting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Develop annual cost-savings goals and execution plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation and spend optimization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct market research, benchmarking, and pricing analysis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Track and report cost savings, cost avoidance, purchase price variance, and supplier performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support working-capital improvement initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Cross-Functional Support<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Partner with Operations, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, Facilities, EHS, Finance, Human Resources, IT, and Logistics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respond to urgent plant and operational purchasing needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support new project launches, facility expansions, and capital expenditure initiatives.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and mitigate supply-chain risks while maintaining uninterrupted supply.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">SAP and ERP Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain purchasing information records, contracts, and source lists in SAP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create and manage purchase orders and other purchasing documents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor pricing accuracy and contract compliance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with invoice discrepancies and supplier payment concerns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three to seven years of purchasing, procurement, or strategic sourcing experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience managing indirect procurement or non-production material categories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong supplier negotiation and contract-management experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAP or comparable ERP purchasing experience required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong Microsoft Excel and data-analysis skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of purchasing processes, contracts, and commercial terms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Automotive or manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MBA or professional certification such as
