Position Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

ATL Search Group is seeking an experienced Contract Talent Acquisition Recruiter<\/strong> to support the high-volume hiring needs of one of our clients in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This position will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, developing effective sourcing strategies, and partnering closely with hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership to fill open positions efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume recruiting environment. Previous experience recruiting CDL Class A drivers<\/strong> is highly preferred, and experience using Tenstreet<\/strong> will be considered a significant advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is initially a contract position. While permanent employment is not guaranteed, there may be a limited opportunity for the role to transition into a full-time position based on business needs, position availability, and individual performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned positions, from candidate sourcing through offer acceptance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Partner with hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership to understand hiring priorities, job requirements, compensation, schedules, and candidate qualifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Recruit for high-volume positions, with a strong focus on identifying and engaging qualified CDL Class A drivers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies using job boards, recruiting platforms, databases, social media, professional networks, employee referrals, and direct outreach.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Review applications and resumes to identify candidates who meet position requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Conduct initial telephone or virtual screening interviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Evaluate candidates\u2019 employment history, qualifications, licenses, experience, availability, and overall suitability for open positions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Coordinate assessments, reference checks, background screenings, motor vehicle record checks, drug screenings, and other pre-employment requirements when applicable.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support the preparation, communication, and negotiation of employment offers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain accurate and updated candidate records within the applicant tracking system and other recruitment platforms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and anticipated hiring needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Monitor recruiting activity, candidate flow, time-to-fill, and other relevant recruitment metrics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Provide regular updates to hiring managers and talent acquisition leadership regarding recruitment progress and hiring challenges.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal hiring procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Support continuous improvement of recruiting processes, candidate communication, and sourcing strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling candidate, employee, and company information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Minimum of two years of professional recruiting experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Demonstrated experience managing high-volume recruitment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating candidates through the complete hiring process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruitment technology.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong knowledge of online sourcing tools, recruitment platforms, resume databases, and candidate search techniques.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to manage multiple open positions and competing priorities simultaneously.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise sound professional judgment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Preferred Qualifications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
        \n
      • Previous high-volume recruitment experience involving CDL Class A drivers<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience recruiting commercial drivers, transportation professionals, logistics employees, or other regulated positions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Previous experience using Tenstreet<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Corporate or in-house talent acquisition experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Experience reviewing driver qualifications, licenses, employment history, motor vehicle records, and related compliance documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or similar human resources certification.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
